It’s hard to believe that we’re already in the final quarter of the year. Time has flown by so quickly! Before we know it, Thanksgiving and Christmas will be here, followed by the start of a new year in 2024. It’s been almost two years since we visited Walt Disney World, and my kids are already talking about our next trip. Maybe it’s time to start planning for it. In the meantime, I’m grateful that we can relive our past memories by escaping to another one from our last trip. Let’s do that now.
Today’s memory takes us back to a Tuesday afternoon in December 2021. If you remember from last time, we had just concluded our ride on Dinosaur and had paused to pick up our mobile order from Restaurantasaurus. Following a swift meal and a brief pause, we recognized that if we hurry, we could return to Asia in time to witness the Feathered Friends in Flight show.
As we sprint through Dinoland USA, we can hear the music of the land fade away, replaced by the introduction of KiteTails, a show about to start on the lake to our left. We’ll continue walking, enjoying the sounds of the show as we pass through Asia, by Expedition Everest, and further into the land. Eventually, we’ll reach the entrance to the theater, arriving with a few minutes to spare. We’ll choose seats near the front, providing us with a great view of the magnificent birds. While we wait for the show to start, we can observe some of the birds on display, including the Macaws perched in nearby trees. Finally, the show begins, and we can sit back and enjoy the awe-inspiring display of these incredible creatures.
After it’s done, the question that always arises is, what comes next?
