Today’s memory takes us back to a Wednesday afternoon in December 2021. In our previous memory, we had just finished our last ride on Splash Mountain, and are waiting for our lunch order from Pecos Bills. Traci suggests that I take the kids through the Swiss Family Treehouse while she waits for the food.
So, the kids and I head off into Adventureland. You’ll hear the sounds shift as we leave Frontierland and pass by Pirates of the Caribbean, past the Enchanted Tiki Room, and further into the music of Adventureland. We recently introduced the kids to the Swiss Family Robinson, so they are looking around for things that they recognize from the film. You’ll hear the organ when we reach the top, and of course, it’s playing Christmas music for this time of year. Then from our platform, we take a moment to capture a few pictures from the top of the tree and looking out over the Magic Kingdom. We’ll eventually complete our time in the treehouse and return to find Traci and our lunch at Pecos Bill’s.

Before I share the memory, I want to say thank you to Disneyhayes who left me this great review on Apple Podcasts. She said “I struggle with depression and am super busy as a mom, career woman, wife and serve in our community. Plus as a huge Disney fan, I suffer from disappointment when I can’t be at the parks. This podcast allows me to be immersed into the parks. Something that the parks music just can’t do for me sometimes. It’s been one of my best finds and I am grateful for the time that Lou has put into it. Thank you Lou!” Wow. Disneyhayes, that made my day. Thank You! I’d love to hear from you and why you like to listen. It reinvigorates me to keep putting out new shows, and really just makes my day.
Once again, for that best experience, make sure you are wearing your favorite headphones to really place yourself in this binaural memory.
