Today’s memory takes us back to a fun Wednesday evening in December 2021. In our previous memory, we finally caught a quick ride on the fun and fanciful Under the Sea attraction, and have emerged to a fairly empty Fantasyland. We have about 30 minutes until the fireworks show, and we know Main Street is the best spot to view them. But guess what? I underestimated the crowds! As we make our way towards the castle, we quickly realize we were stuck. We had planned to cut across to Adventureland, but the crowds have blocked off all the walkways. We end up backtracking and finding a bridge going towards Fantasyland, closer to the castle.

As the time for the show approaches, the crowds continue to grow. The cast members do a great job keeping the pathways safe and moving, but it was still a bit crowded. Finally, the lights dim, the music builds, and the fireworks show begins!

Our family had never seen Disney’s Enchantment fireworks show before. I had seen Wishes countless times, so this was a different experience. Honestly though, I don’t remember much about it now, maybe because it wasn’t that impressive. Either way, once it was over, we’ll push our way back into Fantasyland, making our way through Liberty Square and finally Frontierland. And that’s where we end our memory for today, and have to pick back up next time.

So once again, for that best experience, make sure you are wearing your favorite headphones to really place yourself in this binaural memory.
