Today’s memory takes us back to a fun Wednesday evening in December 2021. In our previous memory, we just finished a ride on Big Thunder Mountain, and the park now has about an hour before it closes. Any trip to the Magic Kingdom requires a ride on the Jungle Cruise, but it was the Jingle Cruise, which is a bonus because of the time of year. I hadn’t been on this version before, but I’d heard great things about it, and was excited to experience it with my family.

As we join the memory, we’ll be making our way from Frontierland to Adventureland, and then we joined the line for the Jingle Cruise. The wait was over an hour, so it will be our last attraction in the Magic Kingdom for the day. Since we weren’t going back to the Magic Kingdom again, it was also our last ride in the park. But we were feeling pretty good about all the things we had done.

We’ll hop in line, and the whole theme of the Jingle Cruise is Christmas. It was great! At different times, the line will erupt into song as we sang along to our favorite Christmas tunes. I’ll cut out most of the queue wait, so in no time, we will find ourselves ready to board our boat. And then, we were underwater… underway, and on a slightly different cruise experience.

So once again, for that best experience, make sure you are wearing your favorite headphones to really place yourself in this binaural memory.
