Happy New Year everybody! I trust everyone has had a great Holiday season. I am grateful for your patience in getting the next memory out. I needed that little break with life just burying me for the past few weeks. As it’s beginning to settle down, I knew I would have the time to get another memory back out. Thank you to all of you who voted. It was another close race, but it was decided that this year we will be heading to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. So let’s begin our new day of memories shall we?
We’re going to relive my memories from our most recent trip to Walt Disney World in January of 2015. It’s a beautiful sunny day. It’s our first full day in the parks, and I’m so excited to be getting there. The weather is sunny and cool with a bit of a breeze, but nothing we can’t handle. Remember, back home they are dealing with snow and ice, so a breeze seems like hardly a problem.
We’re arriving at Disney’s Hollywood Studios shortly after the park has opened for the day. We’ll join our memory as we are walking from the parking lot up to the trams and front gate. Today we will start out with just my family and my brother’s family in the park. Later this morning, my sister will fly in, and my Dad who is picking them up at the airport will come join us also, and we’ll all enjoy the rest of our trip together.
As we approach the tram, it’s crowded, so we opt to split up a bit since we have a stroller anyways. It’s not a far walk, so I take the stroller, while Traci takes the kids for a fun ride on the tram. I’ll get to the Bag Check before everyone else, and we’ll get back together as we are stuck in our first line. Finally, we’ll get through the Bag Check, and because we already have our tickets, it we get through and into the park in no time. Then we’re off to our first attraction. On our way there, we’ll take a quick detour, and stop for a picture with Pluto in front of the Chinese Theater. This will be where we’ll stop for the day, and pick up again next time.
Today’s memory is in binaural, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
Now sit back. Relax. Close your eyes. And come with me as we start a new day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
