Come and join us for another installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, where I try to make it possible for you relive your Walt Disney World Memories when you can’t actually be there. In this memory, we’ll continue our day in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We have just left the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration show and decided to go catch Muppet Vision 3D, but we’ll get distracted and stop for a quick photo opportunity with Mater and Lightning McQueen on our way there.

So the other day, Mikey and I were talking, and he turned to me and said “Daddy, when are we going to Florida?” and I had to tell him “like 200 days” which caused his eyes to open wide and then he looked so sad. That’s a lot of days, and even so we might get to add a day or two at Walt Disney World, so for If we’re lucky, maybe in the fall we’ll get to go to Florida, and with that maybe we’ll get one day at Disney, but for now we’ll be stuck here in newly fallen snow with bitter cold in the forecast. I’m looking forward to this memory, and escaping to the sun and warmth of a Florida winter. So let’s escape together shall we?
Just like last time, we’re reliving my memories from our most recent trip to Walt Disney World in January of 2015. It’s a beautiful sunny day, and our first full day in the parks. In memory 158, my family and I just finished singing along with Ana and Elsa, and are now looking for our next adventure. As we exited, we began to make our way towards Muppet Vision 3D, but got distracted on our way there and stopped for a quick photo with Mater and Lightning McQueen from Cars. After a quick photo with the two of them, we continue on to the Muppet Theater. We’ll arrive inside in time to catch the pre-show, which is currently changed to include Constantine, the evil Kermit from the then current Muppets Most Wanted movie. I know it’s a synergy thing, but I’m really not a fan of this addition. It’s actually more distracting, and it has nothing to do with what happens in the main theater, so it’s just a waste in my mind.
After the pre-show, we’ll move into the theater and take our seat in the front third of the theater, near the middle. The theater is maybe 50% full today, so it’s not hard to get a good seat. I honestly only remember a handful of times in my life that the theater was ever full, which is kind of sad because this is still a fun, simple, family-friendly attraction with something for everyone. After the show ends, we’ll exit to the right and head back out into the sun, where we’ll decide where to go for our next memory.
Today’s memory is in binaural, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
Now sit back. Relax. Close your eyes. And come with me as we share a few laughs in this classic Disney attraction.
