Well hello and welcome back to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure. Today’s memory is a repeat from earlier in our day. With one hour left before park closing, we decide that our last attraction before the fireworks should be Soarin’. I love it when the crowds are so low that we can actually do this, and get to go back across the park and catch one more ride on Soarin’ and still have time for the fireworks.
We’ll join the memory as we’re crossing through the middle of Future World, in front of the Fountain of Nations, which are putting on a great show. I’ll grab the kids hands as we pass through the crowds, still streaming in for Food & Wine Festival, also so that the kids can watch the fountains without slowing down or getting lost. We’ll walk into the Land Pavilion, around the concourse in the building noting how every other attraction inside is closed, and strait into the Soarin’ queue. The line is non-existant, and we don’t even stop one time until we’re in the tunnel to Concourse A. The we get our pre-flight briefing again, and then we’re off on one more adventure.
Again folks, we are so lucky with the crowds today. It has allowed us to pick and choose without worry of which ride we will not be able to get to. We were almost able to see them all at this point. Though I’m pretty sure Galaxy’s Edge might change all that when it opens in Walt Disney World later this year.
