Take a virtual audio trip in this installment of the WDW-Memories podcast as we enjoy more of our magical memories from our first trip aboard the Disney Dream. In this memory, you will let your ears take you to Port Canaveral, FL as we watch the Sailing Away party in the main atrium, and celebrate the start of a magical Disney Vacation.

Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.
For our countdown update to our trip in September, as of the release of this episode we are under 200 days at 198 more days until our Walt Disney World trip. At this point, I’ve been reading more Disney Blogs, especially on how to get into things like Rise of the Resistance. Don’t forget, if you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear it. Just contact me my social media or the website. But for now, let’s get back to our time on the Disney Dream.
If you remember from our last memory, we just spent some time exploring some of the fun of the ship. Today’s memory is a bit of a time warp, and occurs in the middle of Memory 219. We’ll join the memory just as we have finished with the safety briefing on Deck 4, and are back inside for the Sail Away Party. Normally this would happen on the top decks, but because of rain storms in the area, they moved to their backup location in the atrium. We have a spot on the rail on the top most balcony of the atrium (the atrium is open on decks 3-5) and have a great view of all the proceedings below. The crew is already out, dancing to build up the excitement as we anticipate the start of our magical cruise. You’ll hear our cruise directors, and of course your favorite Disney characters help lead us in the celebration. Then with one blast of the horn, we are officially underway on our magical Disney Cruise.
In true Disney show fashion, this show is high energy, with fun, dancing, and of course our favorite Disney Characters. You’ll hear the pure excitement as each character comes out and says hello. And when that horn blows, you can’t help but smile as you know you are about to start making some amazing memories.
