Take a virtual audio trip in this installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, brought to you in immersive binaural sound, as we enjoy another magical memory from Walt Disney World. In today’s memory, you will join my family as we enjoy a ride on our favorite attraction before enjoying the sounds of the Epcot as we sample some of its fun treats.
Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.
I am finally back. We had an amazing time in Vermont. We enjoyed all the beauty of the trees and mountains, tasted amazing things like Maple Icecream, Vermont Cheddar, and Fresh Apple Cider, and relaxed each day by the roar of a wood fire. It was so peaceful, but sadly I just never got the time to put together this podcast while I was out there like I planned. I brought all my equipment up there to do some special introductions, and just never was able to find the time. And since returning, it has been a non-stop-sprint through the weeks with work, church, and school projects, so I have had little time to finish editing the podcast. But I am back, and I plan to continue to do my regular releases every week (maybe 2 weeks with the holidays in the mix too). But enough about planning, let’s get back to our Disney World Memory.
In today’s memory, we are continuing our second day in the parks. It’s a beautiful summer morning in September 2016. If you remember from last time, we rode the bus from the Port Orleans Riverside Resort and have just entered Epcot in search of a quick snack before heading for our favorite Walt Disney World attraction, Test Track (again). We’ll join the memory as we are entering the queue for a short 30-minute wait, and in no time we are designing our cars once again. It’s another great ride on Test Track, and then we’ll spend some time this time exploring the post-show area, driving the cars, and posing for pictures with our cars before we exit. But today’s memory won’t end there. For those that want to listen on, I’ll share sounds of Epcot as we then walk from Test Track, back to Norway, passing Mexico and China, on our way to the Kringla Bakeri og Cafe for a quick pastry. Once sugared up, we make the trek back to the front of the park for our next attraction, stopping one more time for a quick drink at the Club Cool.
I know we get to ride Test Track a lot, so I thought what could make this memory fun and different, so this memory will have a bit of both of the things that Epcot has to offer. Amazing attractions, and amazing cultural experiences. The pastries we had were so awesome, and a great way to start the day. And the memories of sharing a sip of Beverly with the kids is something that every parent will remember.
Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
Now join my family as we ride our favorite attraction and enjoy some of the tastes and culture of Epcot.
