Come and join us for another installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, where we relive my Walt Disney World Memories. In this memory we will continue a day spent in Walt Disney World hopping between the two original Disney World parks, as we enjoy the short lines still and catch two rides on a magical carpet, soaring high over Adventureland and maybe get spit on by a camel.

Well how is everyone enjoying this fall weather we finally have here in the United States. Here in Kentucky we are finally seeing the colors in the trees, and the air each morning is cool and crisp. It makes you want to just stay inside with a cozy blanket, a warm cup of cider, and maybe a nice book or even better a binaural podcast that transports you to your favorite place in the world… So let’s go there now.
As you’ll remember from last time, it’s a very warm summer morning in Florida. My family and I had just gotten off Big Thunder Mountain Railroad for the second time and are looking for our next adventure. We consult the Touring Plans Lines app and decide to head to Adventureland and The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. Like Big Thunder Mountain, the Carpets has no line yet, so we are able to walk right in and get assigned a spot, no wait. After a fund ride, we’ll turn around and ride it again, allowing the kids to switch spots so one gets to control the tilt while the other controls the height.
I have never really understood the excitement of Dumbo or The Carpets, but my kids love them. Each trip we have to ride them. Maybe it’s going up so high? Or maybe it’s just fun to try to get a camel to spit on Daddy? I don’t know, but it’s always a must do for our family.
Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
Now sit back. Relax. Close your eyes. And come with me as we take a spin around Adventureland on a Magic Carpet Ride.
