Memory 195 – A Parkhopping Day at WDW, Part 5: Jungle Cruise

In this memory we will continue a day spent in Walt Disney World hopping between the two original Disney World parks, as we enjoy the short lines still and walk strait onto the Jungle Cruise. We’ll cruise through Adventureland, with danger and laughter lurking around every bend in the river.

Well hello and Happy Thanksgiving. Well sort of. Here in the US we are about to celebrate Thanksgiving, eat lots of food and start the Christmas Shopping season. Technically, I’ve already started my shopping. It just seems like we are looking for a reason to start earlier this year, and well I embraced it and we’ve ran with it, starting on the gift buying for our family and enjoying those early black Friday sales. But instead of worrying about all that’s going on or about to come, let’s escape to our favorite place and relive another memory, and maybe put a smile on your face with this one.

As you’ll remember from last time, it’s a very warm summer morning in September 2017. My family and I had just gotten off The Magic Carpets of Aladdin for the second time and want to stay here in Adventureland before going off to another end of the park, and what better place than right across the way at the Jungle Cruise. We’ll almost walk right on again to the ride before we are whisked away on another adventure. We’ve got a good skipper this time, which can make all the difference with this attraction.

I really love how this ride can be a fun option for the whole family. Even if there are no thrills associated with it, everyone comes off having a great time and we get to enjoy making a memory together. While some of the jokes may go over the kids heads, they still have fun watching all the animals and enjoying the adventure as we journey through the jungle.

Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
