Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure. Well Happy Thanksgiving to all my listeners in the United States. I hope you’re enjoying your time with your family, or maybe you’re out early in the morning right now, waiting to take advantage of Black Friday deals. Whatever you’re doing, I pray it’s been a blessed time where more memories are made and shared with those you love. As for me and my family, we’re all excited about a possible trip next year, one that would be longer with multiple days in the parks, and no hopping around to catch just our top 3 or 4 attraction, but getting to slow down and enjoy the visit some too. But that’s coming up, let’s get back to day in Epcot.

We’ll be continuing our day in August 2018. It’s sunny and warm with an occasional breeze, but the crowds are lighter, so at least we aren’t packed into the park. As you’ll remember from our previous memory, we are making our way forward from the back of the park where we caught a quick ride on the Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros, and are wanting to get another great ride for the little ones, and what better ride to catch than The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

We’ll join the memory as the family has made our way from the Mexico Pavilion, across the walkway back to Future World, and around the Innoventions West area, and are just approaching the building. I’ll grab the stroller and take it over to the parking area while the rest of the family begin the long walk through the queue to board our clamshell. I’ll catch up with the family as the Moonfish are entertaining the kids, and we’ll continue our way through the last of the queue. I’ll sit with my dad in our own clamshell and then we’re guided through our on underseas adventure.

This part of the Epcot is just so peaceful. From the moment you approach the building and the music changes, to the calm that washes over you as you enter the inside queue, to slipping beneath the waves, to boarding your clamshell, there is nothing but a cool, calm, relaxing mood. It’s almost jarring to step back out into the main exhibit area where a demonstration might be going on, like it is at the end of this memory, but it’s still a great place to spend hours if you ever can. And the projection into the tank it one of the coolest effects in my opinion. This is always a must do attraction with small children, especially when the wait is so short.

Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.

Now join my family as we finish our time at Epcot with a quick ride under the sea to say hello to a few of our favorite fish.
