Memory 226 – A Day at Sea

Take a virtual audio trip in this installment of the WDW-Memories podcast as we enjoy more of our magical memories from our first trip aboard the Disney Dream. In this memory, you will let your ears take you aboard this majestic Disney Cruise Line ship one last time as we spend a day on the Disney Dream at Sea, enjoying so many the things we haven’t done yet, plus a few of our favorites again.

Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.

I hope and pray you all are healthy and safe wherever you are, and that maybe the Easter weekend brought you some peace and comfort as it did me. It wasn’t a beautiful weekend here in Kentucky, but it was one of reflection and gratitude for the safety and health we have had so far and a reminder that though things may seem dark now, soon there will be light at the other end of this tunnel. In the meantime, maybe a bit of escape to a happy place is in order, so let’s get to our final memory aboard the Disney Dream.

So far we’ve watched stage shows, explored the ship, and watched fireworks in between stops at some amazing ports in the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. Today though, it’s our final day on the Disney Dream, and we are taking advantage of the day to do some of the things we haven’t done yet. So this memory is a bit of a hodge-podge of things we will do and will feel more like a trip report with little clips of things pulled together.   For those that are thinking about a Disney Cruise, and worry that they won’t have anything to do during those Days at Sea… don’t. What I’m about to share is just a taste of how amazing it is aboard the ship. We were running pretty much the entire time, doing all we could do, and this didn’t include things like sitting and relaxing, enjoying the spa, or exploring the adult only area. There really is so much to do aboard the ship.

Today’s memory clips will all be in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
