Take a virtual audio trip in this installment of the WDW-Memories podcast as we enjoy another magical memory from Walt Disney World. In this memory, you will join my family as we begin a 2 day trip to Walt Disney World starting with our morning in the Magic Kingdom and enjoying that excitement as we enter the park.

Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.

It’s time to start a new series of memories today, and I’m so excited. As more people’s vacations and trips to Walt Disney World are postponed because of the Carona Virus Pandemic, it seems like a virtual trip to Walt Disney World might be needed, so I think the timing couldn’t be more important. In fact, this series of WDW Memories will be from our trip in 2016. This was a special trip, because it was the first time we, as a family, decided to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort, getting to take advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, and do some of the bigger things at Walt Disney World. The first day, my extended family is with us most of the day as we tour the parks, hitting all of our favorite family attractions. Then on the second day, it’s just my immediate family, and we will be a bit more adventurous without all the little ones.

We’ll start our memory like so many my other days in Walt Disney World by arriving at the Magic Kingdom Parking Lot. This time as we pass through the parking entrance because we are staying in the resorts, we just show them our magic band, share the resort we’re staying in, and head on through. Once we park, we pack our things up and head for the Tram to the Transportation and Ticket Center where we will pick up tickets for the rest of my family. Then with tickets in hand, we’ll make our way around the Seven Seas Lagoon, opting for the Resort Monorail this time because it just pulled in and the line for the express was down the ramp, and on to the Magic Kingdom. Once we are on the other side of the lake we go through bag check, and finally through the tapstiles into the Happiest Place on Earth. We’re excited to begin our day, but even before we get down Main Street, we hear the music change and treated to fall version of the Main Street Trolley Show. After the show, we’ll stop to figure out where we want to go first.

Does anyone else smile when they hear the start of a day in Walt Disney World like this? There is a sense of relief and peace that I feel as I get to walk into the Magic Kingdom, and put behind me the cares of the world. Again, that’s why I have been doing these episodes since 2006, so that those that are like me can enjoy that escape too.

Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.

Now join my family as we begin a 2 day trip to Walt Disney World starting with our morning in the Magic Kingdom and enjoying that excitement as we enter the park.
