In today’s memory, you will join my family as we sprint across the Seas Pavilion and spend a few minutes chatting with a Sea Turtle.
Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.
I haven’t canceled the trip yet. In fact, my travel agent and I are trying to figure out our best move, but again, at this point, it’s not looking like the trip will be in September. But the good news is, it will happen, even if it’s not September 2020, and I can’t wait to experience all the excitement that a full week at Walt Disney World with my family will bring. And when it does happen, I’ll be sure to bring you all along with me, virtually of course, just like we’re doing today.
In today’s memory, we will continue our day in September 2016. As you’ll remember we began our day in the Magic Kingdom, and have now park hopped over to Epcot. We are joined today by my extended family, and we will be picking up as we have just finished riding The Seas with Nemo & Friends and as we exited our clamshell the Cast Member informed us that the next opportunity to chat with Crush was about to begin. You’ll hear us quickly gather up all our things, exit the walkway, and quickly run across the pavilion to the entrance to the Turtle Talk theater. We couldn’t have timed that much better as we grab our seat on the bench in the back of the theater and send the kids upfront. You’ll hear their excited voices as they can’t wait to chat with Crush, and maybe get to ask him a question. When Crush arrives, I don’t think he was prepared for the level of interaction he got from the kids in this visit, but he went with the flow and we had an excellent time chatting with him.
If it’s not obvious, this is one of our family’s favorite things to do. Whether we’re in Walt Disney World, Disney’s California Adventure, or on the Disney Dream, we love to catch up with Crush and find out how he’s doing. From the littlest explorers to the oldest among us, this is one that we never miss.
Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.
