Take a virtual audio trip in this installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, brought to you in immersive binaural sound, experiencing another magical memory from Walt Disney World. In today’s memory, you will join my family as we soar high over the Magic Kingdom on this special little elephant.

Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.

I’m going to try changing up the format a bit. I’m going to split up the talking, and hopefully, get us to our featured attraction a little quicker each episode. I’d love to hear what you think, so leave me your comments on the website.

So I’m sure everyone is familiar with the Dumbo attraction. For those that are not, imagine a carousel, where you ride on that famous elephant, and you can control how high he goes. My kids have loved this ride, probably because it’s just simple fun, and they control Dumbo, and my wife and I love the views it affords you of the park. The addition of the second set of Dumbos has made the lines almost non-existent. And if you need to let the kids blow off some steam, the indoor play area is perfect.

For today’s memory, we are continuing our second day in the parks on our trip in September of 2016. If you remember from Memory 255, we had gotten to enjoy a mildly thrilling ride on the Barnstormer, and as we exited we knew we had to hit Dumbo the Flying Elephant before leaving Storybook Circus. The wait time was pretty much nothing, and in fact, as we walk inside the tent, you’ll hear the attendant ask us if we want to play or just get in line. We’ll opt to bypass the play area, and without even stopping we manage to hop right onto an elephant for our turn to fly.

Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.

Now that you have your headphones on, let’s join my family as we take in the views of the park from the back of a flying elephant.
