Take a virtual audio trip in this installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, brought to you in immersive binaural sound, experiencing another magical memory from Walt Disney World. In today’s memory, you will join my family as we leave the hub and catch a quick ride through the stories of that loveable pooh bear.

Well hello and welcome to the WDW-Memories Podcast where together we relive that Walt Disney World Magic. My name is Lou and I’ll once again be your host on this magical adventure.

Before we get started, I have some bad news. With this latest surge in covid cases in Florida and throughout the US, our family has decided that we need to postpone our trip to Walt Disney World once again. I’m not sharing this to say that this is how you should decide for your vacations, but for me and my family, we are going to push our trip back to December and pray that things turn around. The good thing is, this makes all of the 50th celebration activities available to us, and later to all of you. In the meantime, we’ll just have to be patient and relive the memories of previous trips to this magical place and attractions like The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.

We’ve relived rides on The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, but this time we decided to catch it during extra magic hours. I will say, the line at this point is pretty much a walk-on, and if you are looking for a great way to get on the ride quickly, and you don’t have little ones that need to sleep, walking onto a ride that throughout the day had a 20-minute wait is a big win in my book.

For today’s memory, we are continuing our second day in the parks on our trip in September of 2016. If you remember from Memory 260, we just finished wishes and are beginning our extra magic hour evening in the Magic Kingdom. We were on the bridge that drops us at the point where Fantasyland and Tomorrowland merge, so we can easily see the line in Winnie the pooh and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The line is very short for Pooh, so we scan our bands at the entrance to the queue and walk all the way through, stopping just before the loading area. The ride is great and uneventful, and then we’re off and we’ll continue listening as we make our way to our next adventure.

Today’s memory is in binaural once again, so I’d suggest putting those headphones on to fully immerse yourself in the memory.

Now that you have your headphones on, let’s join my family as we begin the extra magic hour evening with a great Fantasyland dark ride.
