Come and join us for another installment of the WDW-Memories podcast, where I try to make it possible for you relive your Walt Disney World Memories when you can’t actually be there. Today we’ll celebrate Christmas by visiting a now lost memory. Today we’ll watch a showing of the now retired World Showcase Players in the United Kingdom as they tell the story of King Arthur and the Holy Grail.

Merry Christmas everyone. It’s time for our annual Christmastime Memory, a tradition I started back in my first year doing the podcast, back in 2006. Each year, I’ve release either special audio or a special video, and today it no different. Today we’re getting to watch a video of a group that I always loved while at Epcot, and am sad that I will never see them again. Today we’re going to watch the World Showcase Players do their retelling of Camelot while in the UK Pavilion.
We’ll keep this short. We’re going back to March of 2005. Traci and I have come to Epcot today with her parents to enjoy the Flower and Garden festival. We have just finished seeing the Voice of Liberty, stopped for a bit at watched Matsuriza in Japan, and happened to be passing by the UK pavilion when we saw a large crowd gathering. So I quickly pulled out the video camera, and boy am I glad I did, because it was a great show Camelot that was just beginning. We’ll find a spot to view the show from (sorry for the initial jostling about as I get into position) and we’ll just get to soak the show in from here.
Again, I’m sorry these guys had to go. This was one of the best audience participation shows in all of Epcot. I hope wherever this troupe has ended up, they are entertaining guests with more great stories and skits.
Like always, if you like this show, and want to see or hear more like it, stop by the WDW-Memories website at WDW-Memories.net.
Now sit back. Relax. Close your eyes. And come with me as we give a final viewing to a favorite show in Epcot.
